The ever-expanding Marvel Age masthead expanded again this issue with the addition of art director John Romita and three staff artists who would be known collectively as Romita's Raiders: James W. Fry, Phil Lord, and Tom Morgan!

In another change that people might not have noticed, with this issue Marvel Age joined the then current trend of flexographic printing -- which meant brighter colors veering toward yellow and weird splotchiness. See below for a couple of examples.

This issue features an in-depth interview with writer Steve Englehart about the Vision and Scarlet Witch miniseries and the new West Coast Avengers series, while fans got to know a new mutant called Longshot, along with rising star artist Arthur Adams.
