The first of four Marvel Age Annuals hit newsstands in July, 1985, providing fans with insights into what's coming up in dozens of Marvel titles. The info rolled out in a cleverly constructed 25 page story conceived by editor in chief Jim Shooter that features different stars on every page, including a few surprises (hello, Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy!) as well as the Marvel Age staff.

As though that weren't enough, the annual includes articles on the main line of Marvel titles, as well as the Epic and Star Comics lines, a report on what's happening with TV and movie projects, a remembrance of original Human Torch creator Carl Burgos, and "The Quotations of  Chairman Doom."

All in all, it's a really fun issue!
