The Silver Surfer soared once more in Marvel Age #52, with three -- count 'em, three! -- separate articles about good old Norris Radd. All written by Bill Slavicsek, the articles look at the Surfer's history, and the new monthly series by writer Steve Englehart and artist Marshall Rogers, and (best of all) an article on a movie that was then in development, which was slated to star Richard Here. The article also mentions a new Silver Surfer graphic novel by the team of writer Stan Lee and artist Keith Pollard, which I believe was never published.

Even Stan himself gets in on excitement in this issue, with a Stan's Soapbox column about the Surfer that retells the story of how Jack Kirby added the Silver Surfer to the Galactus Trilogy in the Fantastic Four.

And let's not leave Fred Hembeck out of the picture!
