Just a couple of years after wrapping his epic run on Thor, Walter Simonson returned to write and draw another Marvel staple, the Fantastic Four. This run would turn the FF upside down, with issues that added heroes to the team that seemed wildly out of place, like Ghost Rider and Wolverine.

Speaking of Wolverine (and when was Marvel not speaking about Wolverine in 1989?), this issue of Marvel Age touts a six-issue run of the clawed curmudgeon's own series to be written by one of Simonson's greatest collaborators, Archie Goodwin, with art by John Byrne and Klaus Janson.

And, just for fun, this issue's Coming Attractions section ran the cover to Hulk #362 by Kevin Nowlan in its original version (left), and with changes -- and I've posted them below with the printed cover (right).
