With Daredevil's big 30th anniversary right around the corner, Marvel Age #127 unveiled the new miniseries Daredevil: The Man without Fear. Written by Frank Miller with art by John Romita Jr. and Al Williamson, the story explored DD's early days as he trained with Stick to master his new, ultra-sensitive senses.

Also in this issue, a Marvel Movie Update talks up a possible Doctor Strange movie to be directed by Wes Craven, as well as an equally theoretical Black Panther movie to star Wesley Snipes. The article mentions a Blade movie but says it could star L.L. Cool. J. The article goes on to mention the new Marvel Films, with Avi Arad as President and CEO.

And the continuing merry-go-round of articles about Marvel licensed projects lands this month on X-Men anniversary holograms.

Marvel had licensed out its characters for trading cards and collectibles in recent years, so it was only a matter of time before they rolled a line of video games. To up the ante, this issue of Marvel Age invites readers to take part in a video game giveaway sweepstakes. Readers could win games from Acclaim or Sega just by sending in their name, age, and address.

Also in this issue, it's Clive Barker's Razorline of exciting new comics, plus Marvel U.K.'s Frontier Comics -–not to mention the big crossover between The Punisher and Venom. As if things weren't hot enough already, there was the big Marvel Swimsuit Special, which mostly featured on illustrated heroes, but also made room for Marvel designer and sometime model Dawn Geiger.

If you want to get to know Fabian Nicieza - and honestly, who doesn't? - this is the Marvel Age issue for you. Fabian sits down for an interview about his writing projects, complete with family pictures, behind the scenes art and more.

Plus, Marvel strikes a publishing deal with a Japanese firm and sends Stan Lee and Spider-Man to seal the deal, and Mike Baron teams up with Mark Nelson for the very cool looking Epic series Feud. And Warlock is back in The Infinity Crusade, where he has to deal with his "confusing and aimless" existence as an omnipotent god. Tell me about it, brother...

Marvel Age #124 looks at the next chapter of Jim Starlin's continuing cosmic journey across the Marvel Universe with The Infinity Crusade, as well as Epic's Heavy Hitters line, the latter of which featured Joe Kubert's first work for Marvel in close to 40 years. Hey, it helps if your sons are two of the publisher's hottest artists!

Also in this issue, Marvel promotes one of the weirdest licensed comics ever: Mad Dog, which spun out of the short-lived TV series Bob, starring Bob Newhart as comics artist Bob McKay. In the show, Bob created Mad Dog, which is revived by a new publisher who wants to make the characters less of a nice guy and more of a bloodthirsty vigilante. The comic reflected that by having two stories per issue: one written and drawn by Ty Templeton, starring the old version, and the other by writer Evan Dorkin and artist Gordon Purcell.

Also in this issue, readers learned about upcoming projects including The Trouble with Girls, a new Tor series by Joe Kubert, and Howard Chaykin's Midnight Men.

We haven't heard much about the Mighty Thor lately in Marvel Age, but that all changes in Marvel Age #123, which looks at the new series Thunderstrike in both a feature article and this month's "Tom Talks" column, by editor in chief and series writer Tom DeFalco.

But the god of thunder isn't alone, because this issue also presents Cable in his own series, along with the Maximum Carnage event, and the latest on Avengers West Coast with returning Avengers scribe Roy Thomas.
