It's the Silver Surfer's time to shine on the cover of Marvel Age #71. Good old Norrin Radd was, at this point, 21 issues into his solo series, and was about to soar into a new, very mini miniseries by Stan Lee and Moebius. Two graphic novels were in development as well: Judgment Day, written by Lee and Tom DeFalco with art by John Buscema, and The Enslavers, written by Lee with art by Keith Pollard.

Editor Mark Gruenwald expands his "Mark's Remark's" ramblings, previously seen in the letters columns of books he edited, to a regular column in Marvel Age. And red-hot artist Arthur Adams is interviewed in the Mutant Report.

This is also the point where Marvel UK started introducing new series — in this case, it was Death's Head, written by Simon Furman and pencilled by a 17 year old Bryan Hitch.
