Renée Witterstaeter started this issue by saying that it would be her last, after only a few months on the Marvel Age train. Meanwhile, this issue - as it says on the cover - celebrated 400 issues of Captain America. Not bad for an old guy like him!

Also, there were pictures - lots and lots of pictures - from the 1992 holiday party as well as New York Comic-Con of the same year. Somehow inadequate printing quality never stopped Marvel from running photos on newsprint. 

And who knows what anyone was thinking with that back cover?
