It's Marvel Age #129, and the House of Ideas pits two teams against each other once again in the new X-Men / Avengers crossover that wound its way through several titles for a five-issue epic. This issue also includes a promotional poster focused on this event. The poster would remain an occasional feature for the rest of Marvel Age's run, pushing the cover price of the issue up to $1.25.

Also in this issue, Marvel celebrates Conan's cross-media conquests and introduces Marvel-based Role-Playing Games. And Epic's Heavy Hitters line unveils its second wave of titles, including Sachs & Violens, Lapdog / Grimed, Brats Bizarre, Terrarists, Binary Deep, Dragon Lines: The Way of the Warrior, Warman, and the Heavy Hitters Annual. These titles pull heavily from Marvel UK content as well as the pen of Chuck Dixon – not to mention the Future Imperfect team of writer Peter David and artist George Pérez.
