Who could have imagined when James Rhodes made his debut in Iron Man #118 that he would appear in multiple big screen movies and TV series based on Marvel Comics? Here, 14 years after that comic-book debut, Rhodes got his own series as the armored hero called War Machine, as reported in Marvel Age #133.

Also in this issue, Marvel tries to recreate the magic of Peter Parker's wedding to Mary Jane Watson with the nuptials of Scott "Cyclops" Summers and Jean "Marvel Girl or is it Phoenix?" Grey. While the newer wedding didn't generate quite the media frenzy that the earlier one did, there still was lots of excitement - not to mention a wedding gown designed by Nicole Miller.

And the cosmic dance goes on in the new miniseries Cosmic powers, spinning out of the Silver Surfer's latest galaxy-spanning adventures.
