The first of two Marvel Age Previews was published in April of 1990, highlighting "1990's hottest titles!"

This issue provided a hint at what was to come in a little over a year. While Jim Salicrup was listed as "Supreme Marvel Zombie" as usual, the issue was written (and designed!) by Steve Saffel. Steve would become the editor of the monthly Marvel Age with issue #113, following Jim's exit.

The issue especially highlighted Captain America, in honor of the upcoming movie as well as Cap's 50th anniversary still to come the following year. Readers also got a look at upcoming annuals, X-events, and more.

And, I believe for the first time ever, Marvel Age ran a paid ad on its back cover - in this case, for Marvel action figures.
